Is there anyway you can turn of the game volume on halo 4? I can't hear my friends when im in a party. Google did not help me...

Try changing the voice input & output settings on your xbox.
How to:
Guide>Settings>Preferences>Voice.
And you change to whatever suits you.

Change it so that game volume is 1 and chat or voice volume is 10.
This will make it so that whenever your friends are speaking, the game volume will drop until there is nobody talking
