My friend was 2nd prestige level 53 legit, and he lagged out in the middle of a game (He does when somebody rings his house). When he came back online he had an error message saying 'Your current rank has been reset.' He has had no involvement in the prestige glitch whatsoever, and he has never boosted. Is Treyarch wrongly banning people for this glitch? Or is there another reason he could have been banned? Any help would be appreciated!

Treyarch does a full investigation on any account before they ban the account, to avoid something like this from happening. If he was banned, There is a reason that he isn't telling you.
