Completely ruining the potential of overclocking the 965, which is AMD's selling point now: -3
Very questionable power supply: -2
Junk case: -1

AMD is not a terrrible choice right now, but you really have to play your cards right.
I know the case is bad but im gonna change it after Christmas and get a different one. Also this is just a starting point im gonna keep upgrading part by part.

you should have just waited to get the new case rather than waste money on one you plan to get rid of rather soon

The case is the least of your worries. The VRM configuration (weak 4+1, no cooling) of that motherboard will not handle overclocking the high-wattage 965 even if you had an aftermarket heatsink. If you did OC, there's a very good chance you would destroy the board and other hardware. Coincidentally, AMD's CPUs aren't very good options if you're not overclocking them, so you've cornered yourself. If you do upgrade, you'll waste a bunch of money because you'll have two of each part in the end. It's much better to do it right the first time, but I guess it's too late for that now.
