I hope you don't take offense to this, but in my opinion, this rant is stupid. "he said if consoles never existed, everyone wouldn't be as angry as they are now". Dafuq? Do you realize that the gaming industry survived because of consoles? Back in the NES days, Nintendo revived gaming. Back in the PS2 days, Sony brought gaming to a mass casual market. Microsoft released Xbox Live in the early 2000's, and since then, the scope of online gaming has completely changed. Great franchises such as Mario, Zelda, Halo, Uncharted, Gears of War, Metroid, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, Kirby, etc, etc, that have revolutionized their respective categories (in most cases) were there because of consoles. If consoles never existed, video gaming would not be where it was today. People raged in the NES days, people still rage now. To answer your question about the 12 year old Arma kid, I don't really see many kids playing Arma these days, but I'm sure there are tons of 12 year olds raging in Arma.

The fact is, being a PC gamer or Xbox/PS3 gamer has nothing to do with the amount that you "rage" when you lose, that is a personal problem. I like how you turn this into a PC is better argument. To be honest, laptops suck for gaming, and the latest version of COD is available for all PC's.

No I do not take offense to that, but I hear your opinion and to be honest you're right and now that I look back I have made a stupid rant, but I still dont get why people dont accept Xbox and Playstation to just be 'consoles', half the time I get picked on by a group of people because I prefer Xbox over Playstation.

I never took the p*ss out of other consoles, I have nothing against Playstation and I am an Xbox gamer, my friend was the one who pointed out the PC idea and everyone is entitled to teir own opinion.

Uhmmm... I don't feel like consoles are the root to all evil, they are great. No one will clearing jump out and say I hate this console blah blah , they may prefer one over the other, because one is sufficiently better... But that's not the point. It's eaisier to play games on a controller than with a mouse and letters. Idk I still pefer consoles, and people would rage on what ever game you give them, console or not. I raged while playing donkey kong before on the original game boy.
