Alright so Christmas is coming up... I wanted to build my own desktop customly. I know some things about them. But I am completely foreign when it comes to Video Cards. I want one that can handle Battlefield 3 descent. And I am also clueless on a fan. Anyone know what card/fan that can run games and cool down the comp? Thanks.

Go with the 7870. It's good and can max out BF3 and still play it with good FPS. It should handle just about any game you throw at it, and it'll last longer than the 7770.

But..for about 300-400(Depending where you order it, you can get the 7950. NewEgg has it and it comes with 3 free games for about 300.

It'll demolish any game you put it is way and won't need to be upgraded for a bit. It's more than likley what I'll be getting..

That's why it comes with the fans. To keep it cooled down. Lol..Also, it's good to pick a case out that already has fans in it. That's what I'm doing. Mine has like..3-4. One on the top, bottom and side I believe
