I can't hear people talking in the video. There mics light up but no sound comes out. Is there a setting i'm missing somewhere?

Make sure you have the cords plugged in the slots and make sure the recording program is on the right audio setting!

Do i need a turtle beach to hear myself or just a regular mic work? Is there anyway you could tell me all your audio settings real fast to make sure i'm setup right? Thanks man

Well, in order to help. You need to include the questions with the post.
To hear the people talking in the recording, you need to do the following.
Press Xbox Guide button.
Go to Preferences.
Go to Voice.
Click on: Play Through Both.
Then you should be good

Its actually fairly easy to setup!
Plug xbox cables in back of PVR.
Have the cables that came with the pvr, go from the PVR to the TV.
and plug the USB in your computer.
and you are set.
You can also go on youtube and search how to set it up.

I tried everything and still can't hear myself or anyone talk. The mic lights up but no sound.
