No. you don't loose anything associated with the gun, if it is unlocked then you'll have to wait until that level but everything will be then unlocked for the gun that you have previously unlocked

Pretty sure he was talking about prestiging, like level 55 to first prestige level 1

When you Prestige Online Level: You lose nothing, you just have to get your gun back..


When you Prestige Your Weapon: you only lose the attachment not the camo.

You keep your attatchments im prestige 4 and your weapon stays the level it was post prestige
