Hey just wanted to get your opinions on these specs are they good enough for fast video editing and gaming. This is my first time building a PC so Ive found myself getting a bit lost and would appreciate any help ? cheers.

Motherboard-ASUS P8Z77-M: MICRO-ATX, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, ATICrossFireX
Processor-Intel Corei7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770 (3.4GHz) 8MB Cache
RAM-8GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 4GB)
Graphics Card-2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650 Ti
Hard Disk-1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE
Disk Drive-4x BLU-RAY ROM DRIVE, 16x DVD ROM
PSU-450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan

Please feel free to make recommendations I have about 800 to spend

Swap board out for MSI Z77 G43.

Grab a 3770k and an after-market cooler like an Hyper 212.

Drop the blue ray drive if you won't actually use it on a daily basis. The extra money saved can be spent towards an SSD or a better video card for example.

Grab a quality PSU unit...something along the lines of a 550w XfX.
