hey my jtag is pretty messed up
when it did work, it would get frequent rrod, and i would use the q-tip trick (which i know is not recommended) to get it to work again
Then, the kinect dashboard came out a long time ago, and i messed up updating the new nand with 12611 kernel on it to my jtag by screwing up the controls in flash360.. (i wasnt very smart with jtags at the time )
So now, i finally decided to take a look at what is wrong with it..
When i boot it, i get e79 error with the bottom right ring flashing slowly
If i hold down the button that you use to reconnect a controller, and press the eject button, i get the top left red ring flashing quickly
If i repeat the same thing, i got all four rings flashing red quickly
If i press it again, i get the top left, top right, and bottom right flashing quickly
If i press it again, i get the top left, top right, and bottom right flashing quickly (again)

So e79..
On Boot: bottom right (slowly)
Eject + reconnect button: top left (quickly)
" ": all four (quickly)
" ": top left, top right, bottom right (quickly)
" ": top left, top right, bottom right (quickly)

After waiting 5 mins or so, and i go back to the first red ring (bottom right), it turns into the top left and bottom left flashing slowly

If someone could search this up, or give me any information on it that explains how to fix, i will give you rep

1) Replace your harddrive.
2) If you know it isnt the harddrive try the Southbridge X-Clamp Fix or Reflow the Southbridge
3) Check JTAG wiring! Especially the diodes they MUST face the correct direction - Away from J2D2.

Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it. If not you may have written your nand wrong and have a bad nand. If you want me to go further into this and help more add me on skype if you have skype
