i was playing with my boy and a random yesterday and we died early on wave 30 but the random who was alive said the fog went away. Does anyone know how to do it ? Videos or anything.

Don't have an explanation, but this happened to me yesterday. Denizens did not attack me for almost 3 rounds as I ran from stop to stop.
