maniacmyak6 wrote im ok with experienced mexicans repairing my xbox but why does xbox feel the need to snoop around their customers using laredo as a coverupThey're not covering anything up. Sometimes when things are shipped they end up in different places. When I had to send in my Turtle Beach to get fixed I had to send it to New York. I tracked it and it went to New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, back to New Jersey and then New York.

Most likely your xbox will still be repaired! So why care?

I figured I have the same situation today.
I sent my Xbox in for repairs using FedEx. It went to Mesquite Texas to be repaired ( repair center there) I checked the status of my repair on and it said it was complete, and was given a tracking number. Xbox support says that they might not give your old Xbox console back if they can't repair it but might give you a refurbished one. So I'm guessing that mine couldn't be repaired because my tracking number said it was being picked up from Guadalajara Mexico. (Still waiting on it). After some research I found out that they make Xboxes in Mexico.
So to summarize this, you might receive a refurbished or possibly new console.
I hope this helped and good luck to you.
