I was just wondering if you are able to overclock with any motherboard with UEFI

and if you can overclock the A6-5400k Trinity

yes uefi bios makes it allot easier to overclock not sure about the processor though.

K series on both Intel and AMD side represent unlocked multiplier overclocking which just means the overclocking is much easier for newbies to do it. You can overclock with any processor pretty much however it is not advised for a laptop obviously due to overheating issues. On a desktop you can do a minor overclock before needing to buy an aftermarket cooler but if you really want to get it 0.5Ghz+ higher you will need an aftermarket cooler.
