Trust me....it does not beat the iPhone
PLEASE make a VALID statement as to WHY it's better. Else you just sound like a biased Apple fanboy which basically makes your arguments invalid. And please. don't come up with a smartass reply when someone gives you criticism like I've seen you do with a lot of people on the forums. Thank you.

If you have seen my replies around the forum you would know I sell these things for a living.

Last week alone I returned 8 Galaxy S3's
5 Speaker faults
2 Refused to load past the boot screen
1 The screen was messed up (not damaged)

I returned 0 iPhones that were not insurance claims.

Since the iPhone 5 came out I have returned 1 which was faulty out of the box.
Galaxy S3's are going away every week.

Speed tests in the store and around the area proved the iPhone 5 to be quicker upon loading things.

Loading Angry Birds Star wars was a split second faster on the iPhone.

Yeah sure the Galaxy S3 has a couple of nice features but those were not enough for me to convert.

The Galaxy Note however could get me to convert next year with the Note 3, that is a beast of a phone/tablet.
Just as most users on here, I don't view all posts created. And as to why you haven't had an iPhone returned, most claims are done at Apple stores or via phone (Applecare) rather than an authorized retailer. And for the S3s that didn't boot past the boot screen, they were probably people who tried rooting them but failed miserably which tends to happen very often. For the speakers, just people playing music too loud probably, happens to all phones. Want to do a quick Google search on iPhones and speaker faults? Happens to them too. I myself have a 4S and had to replace one because of, would you guess it, a speaker problem. I'm not telling you to convert but you can't hate a phone based on something that dumb. And being that the S3 is still semi-new, you can't expect them to NOT have problems.

Most claims are done at Apple stores??
That is complete garbage.
The closest Apple store to us is miles away.

Boot screen was not tried to be rooted.
He bought it.....went to coffee shop.....came back.
I initially thought he tried to root aswell.

People playing music too loudly affects the external speaker not the one for calls.
External speakers still worked but customers can't hear callers.

I dont hate the S3 I just see why the iPhone is better.
I very nearly got the S3

Its pretty obvious that you are a Samsung fan due to the defence you came up with there.

Problem solved I think lol

And when I say I see why the iPhone is better.......that is why it is better for my needs.
May be different for others

I have a Samsung Galaxy Y at the minute.

I am getting the iPhone 4S in a few days.

The galaxy y is alright but the app store isn't that good.

The App store on iOS is better, by a mile.

I don't own ANY Samsung device (besides my TV) and my phone is an iPhone 4S. How am I a fan exactly? And are you not aware of Applecare (being that you are a salesman and all)? And you're basing the mass of S3s out there on one faulty unit some guy bought. And phone speakers go out easy too. It's a common problem no matter what phone you have, it just seems Samsung chose a shitty batch. Consider that Samsung doesn't physically manufacture the speakers. So please, try again?

Without iOS and Android for a moment, the S3 wins hands down on raw power. Who makes both of the processors for the phones. Yes, Samsung. I am no samsung fan, but they deliver. Power. Quality. Build. Design. The reason why Samsung have made the s3 look the way it does is because Apple sue everyone that makes a round phone with icons that fits in your hand.

Yes, iOS is a great operating system, for simple people. If you want customisation, Android every time. Especially the new 4.1 Jelly Bean. It's smooth, and lightning quick. I'm not against apple, and I'm not for Android, I just happen to prefer them, after having each iPhone since the first one up the 4s. Sure they never broke, apart from the Screen, Back, camera etc but I currently have the S2. My god. Difference in speed. I drop it 24/7, seeing as I'm travelling in London a lot it needs to cope with dropping and it does - and more.

iPhones have the potential to be good, but as long as Apple have their head up their backside and make out the iPhone is the best it can be, then it wont be as good.

If the iPhone 5 came with android, I'd get it.

It's actually possible to run Android on VERY old iOS devices. Just a random tidbit.

Pretty much what I said (and everyone else has been saying) on my very first post on this topic. You can't shove your personal preference down someones throat.

iPhone, quality product.

Decent specs, easy to use and probably more apps than Android/Windows phone.
