I bet it's about how far you get, but I'm pretty sure if you get a lot of revives that helps it go up too because I went from a skull, no blue eyes with 2 tally marks to a skull with blue eyes and 5 tally marks after getting like 15 or so revives in one game

Revives don't do shit I got 50 revives in one game and nothing

the reason you haven't ranked up is because your k/d is 65, try to get it to 75 or at least 70 then you will have a much greater chance of leveling up

my Kd/R is 95 and I only have the knife&skull

The tally marks are based on how often you play, 5 tally marks = blue eyes for your skull. The other rank is a mystery. Just get to round 40+ a couple times in a row and you'll have it. I've made it to 50 and never got the highest rank, I'm stuck at the skull+knife

Why are Treyarch being secretive about how the ranking system works? I don't understand why it needs to be kept in the unknown.

I have been to 43 and I'm just the knife with blue eyes so that isn't true, however it may be consistency high rounds which means if you play with randoms and get to round 10 the chances will lower or if you end up leaving the game at the beginning that could effect it too. and my k/d is 158
