Oh wait, it's the internet so it must be real.. SMH. People like you disgust me, thinking you have the free will to come on a forum to bash someone's beliefs and morals.

inv wrote I find it dumb to believe in a magical sky fairy named 'God'.
There is absolutely no proof he's real?
Flying spaghetti monster > God
Enough said.

The stories could have been transmitted orally down the generations.
Obviously they would be changed somewhat but the origins would still be there.
On the other hand, you are essentially describing the Wellhausen theory.
Which states that there was no way of writing during the times of Abraham and Moses.
However, this theory has come to be rejected in recent times due to the existence of Abraham's origin city, 'Ur'.
A city renowned for it's rich literary culture.
Also, Rabbinical Judaism calculated a lifespan of Moses corresponding to 1391-1271 BC which means that we are not looking at 6000 year old writings.
Also, it is agreed by archaeologists that independent writing without symbols was invented in Mesopotamia in around 3200 BC.
This puts Moses well within the time frame of understandable, preservable writing.
Moses was educated in the house of the Pharoah, so he would have been literate in many of the cultures surrounding Egypt during that day.
Many descriptions in Job suggest that clay was a popular writing material.
Iron stylus' would be used on soft lead also in order to preserve the words of the writer.
There were many ways in which writers could record their findings and have them preserved.
This is how we know about people such as Thales who used similar methods to write his philosophical teachings.

Actually I didn't pay attention to that part of class. Since I was raised up on beliefs that there is a God. I guess EVERYTHING on this planet just appeared. Evolution made the birds like they are. But if thats the case then how did the animals that animals today evolved from get here? It wasn't the Big Bang, evolution, or whatever you believe in. So tell me, how did everything we supposedly evolved from get here?

I'm not really into all this philosophical stuff but I heard something about how everything evolved from fish and stuff. I copied and pasted this off yahoo "The theory of evolution is the idea that a species changes over time.
I'm pretty sure it was originally introduced by Charles Darwin; I know he did most of the preliminary work on the theory. Species evolve through natural selection, which happens when an offspring is mutated (genetically different) in some way from the parents and the mutation helps it better survive in its environment, therefore favoring the offspring over other members of its species to live and produce more offspring." But it sounds like a better theory than everything just appearing magically.

As we wrote in our Science and the Bible section, the Bible is not a science book, yet it is scientifically accurate. We are not aware of any scientific evidence that contradicts the Bible. We have additional proof in our How Do You Know The Bible Is True? sectionand more on this page.

Here is some more proof. That is SCIENTIFICALLY accurate.

He was on this post for 5 minutes before submitting this.
On topic: These are very uneducated reasons as to why the Bible is fake, like the person above me said.
I guarantee you've never even picked up a Bible other than when you've had to for RE class.
