Doesnt It seem like everyone gets the RROD on there JTAG ?
Maybe this should be a Clue to
'Maybe I should prevent this from happening on my JTAG '
Seriously, Everyone needs to Think before they act and do something to your JTAG to prevent RROD ( Red Rings of Death )
Theres a Number of things you can do .

Theres a Number of things you can do .
Simple Way.
-Buy an External Fan that Clicks into the back of your JTAG.
-Run Freestyle Dash and run your fan Higher than usual .
Moderate Way
-Buy a 12 volt Talismoon whisper fan Off of Ebay, Amazon, ETC.
Requires you to open up your xbox and replace fan with new one !
You can Also Buy it with LED's Already installed !
ADVANCED WAY
- Share Electricity with your DVD drive to your fan.
XBOX fans run 5volts on a 12 volt fan.
Cut some wires from The fan and combine with DVD drive wires to make it run 12volts!
I Hope I helped , Any Problems doing any of these . Ask , I can Help

EDIT:
Not Just for JTAGs! Everything Except the Freestyle Dash Works on a Retail XBOX360

Make sure to follow the tutorial,
And if you mess up.
You can always wrap the wires back together (:
WIN WIN situation .
