Ok so lately i have noticed quite alot of people asking about fastest way to gain gold, level Smithing fast and level enchanting also. this method helps with all 3 of these.

Part 1:What i will Need

Preferably a House or safeplace to store your materials while you collect more.

For Smithing
Iron Ingots/Ore
Leather strips.

For Enchanting
Soul gems
Iron Daggers (that you will make)

For Gold Making:-
Iron Daggers w/enchantments

For Alchemy:-
Wheat
Giants Toes

Part 2:How to obtain these + methods

The Smithing Method
The Simplest way to obtain most of these is visit traders, if you already have around 1-2k gold it will be easy. If not dont worry you will make that amount in no time.

Iron Ingots are very easy to get, Most blacksmiths sell these and in copious amounts too!, So visit all citys and buy as many as you can afford.

Start with Whiterun, At the bottom of town near the main gate you have a blacksmith, speak to the lady Outside and buy as many Iron ingots and ores as she has, then go indoors and speak to the guy and buy as many as he has, Exit the store head up the road to the general trader on the right and buy as many as he has, then head up to the skyforge and speak to Eurlond and buy all he has. You can optional buy leather/leather strips too but if you dont have alot of money concentrate on iron.

After you have visited all of the citys and you have as much as you can afford its time to start Smithing.

Before you start however, make sure that you have the Warrior stone buff activated, this gives you additional exp for your smithing, also if you are married rest in your marital bed for 8 hours and get the well rested bonus for another increase in EXP.

now for the smithing, Make as many iron daggers as you can, once done your exp should have risen alot! now you have 2 options.

Option 1:Sell your daggers to Merchants, you wont get much but its better than nothing and helps you get more materials to make more.

Option 2:store the daggers and use them later in the Enchantment method, this way you will Increase your enchanting skill aswell as gain alot more money when you sell the items back and as a 3rd Bonus you also raise your Speechcraft skill!.

The Enchanting Method
as above have the well rested bonus BUT use the Mage stone instead of Warrior

Now for this method try and find ANY weapon that has the Banish undead enchantment on it and disenchant it. This is for 2 reasons, it has one of the best values when sold AND gives slightly more EXP per enchant? or so i am told.

For this method it is best that you use the daggers you made earlier because by now you should have around 100-300 Daggers saved and ready to enchant, you can use ANY soulgem to do this, the larger the better because more value and exp.

Simply collect every soul gem you find and empty ones trap any creatures you can, then use these to enchant the daggers, you can make around 350 gold per dagger when selling to an NPC so you make a decent amount of cash from this method, you also gain Speechcraft exp.

Alchemy Method
Make sure to have the well rested bonus applied aswell as the THIEF stone

For this the best potions you can make will be fortify health potions using only Giants toes and Wheat, To collect these you can find wheat in the fields at most farms and usual around 20-30 pieces at each farm OR buy them for around 4 gold each from most alchemists, Giants toes are slightly harder to get because most alchemists only sell 1-3 at a time and some wont stock them! so you might have to do some traveling and resting until they restock before you get alot of these.

Once you have those ingredients start making potions with those combos and you will get very good exp for them, additionally you can wear any item of clothing or ring etc that gives you bonus to Alchemy this will mean more powerful potions and more EXP and value when sold.

after you hit 100 you sell these potions to anyone that will buy them and make a killing.

The Money Making Guide

Money Making method if you have followed all 3 of the above you will now have

a) A lot of Potions
b) A lot of Enchanted iron daggers

Now the method for this is simple, Sell them! but there are a few things you can do to make this better.

1)wear any item of clothing/accessory that boosts your speechcraft skill or increases merchant prices.

2)Use the Thief Stone to give you a bonus to your Speechcraft and in return gives you better money.

if you used my methods as i have stated you can get your skills all to 100 within an hour of game time Possibly 2 depending on level and how often Vendors sell you giants toes and how much cash you have initialy.

Daggers Value with Banish undead value = 300-1100
Potion Value using Wheat and Giants toe = 300-1900

as you can see you can potentialy make alot of money this way.

Part 3: Notes

*You may want to start with Alchemy, it takes the longest but you make the most money the fastest and can easily get a decent amount of cash that WILL make Smithing and enchanting easier because you can buy the materials and ingredients rather than finding them

*All methods here Work on the latest patch and are effective and tested

*If you have any questions feel free to comment and ask there is no such thing as a stupid question

*Please no "But GV you misspelled like 300 words here" i really don't care i try my best at punctuation and spelling but im not the greatest.

Building materials work faster then iron smithing, and you only need iron ingots instead of iron ingots and leather strips. Also clothing enchantments work better for enchanting, you get more level increases. So get rings or necklaces, make some or not, and enchant them.

yes but not everyone has Hearthfire, My guide is for the vanilla game. and can be done with that. also if you look the reason for using the daggers is because they are already being made to lvl smithing so when it comes to enchanting you dont need to buy things to enchant only the soul gems.

"As of patch 1.5, the higher the value of the item created, the bigger the xp gained for smithing."

Fastest way is to go and mine gold, silver and iron and use the Transmute spells to make the silver and iron into gold and melt it, then make Gold Rings.
