No there is not, the only current jailbreak is 3.55

You have to have a PS3 on 3.55 first of all

your friends are getting confused, as there is a firmware from 3.55 to allowed you go to 4.30 at this point in time there isn't no such thing as a jailbreak without a 3.55.

As of right now, no there isn't. The only jailbreak you can do is 3.55 or under. You can downgrade with the E3 Flasher but it cost's money.
