I agree kind of but it is usfull for those people who abuse the website or not pay attention to the rules.

Also, I don't agree for 2 reasons.

a) Who gives a crap it's a number.
b) negative rep is deserved sometimes.

I agree with you Dave negative rep is deserved at times and should be given

I wouldn't complain too much as this rep system is better than the previous as before people could use the rep hammer on you most trusted sellers could -10,000 or so
So i say rep system stays intact as is

and i myself have gotten 2 idiots that neg repped me for no reason i posted nothing wrong or anything they just both gave me a total of -110 rep for no reason at all what did i do i returned the love as its a post other people find useful as they know things these guys just repped me negative as they don't seem to like me as i reported their posts and had it closed as it violated the rules for the forum
was it wrong of me to help clean up the forum by reporting them....no its like do u want more spam o_O

All i have to say is Yes it is commonly abused and more - rep is given out then + rep, but some ppl deserve it and there's no other way other then thanking a topic to rlly say like "hey this rlly helped me thank you" or if someone gave you a good answer be like "hey this answered my question" + rep for you but ppl don't do that and it's just part of the site, like it or not oh and rlly who cares about rep =/ I help ppl out as much as i can and i only got rep once when i played a contest for it :razz:

Yeah i think -Rep should be taken out.. Hippie -Repped me 100 just because i was "back chatting" it is totally out of order on the people that spend a while making posts to earn rep to just get it taken away.
