Hello guys,
Im looking to buy an SSD to put in my 2012 MacBook Pro, because the 5400-rpm HDD is, to be honest, crap.
I have got a good idea of how to install it etc, so will not need them kits which are usually based on Windows anyway.
The options:
Samsung 830 256GB - 140 (amazon)
Samsung 840 256GB - 180 (amazon)
OCZ Agilty 3 240GB - 160 (nearby shop) / 120 (amazon)
OCZ Vertex 4 256GB - 160 (amazon)
Crucial M4 256GB - 140 (amazon)
Your opinion will be very helpful.
Personally, im sort of falling for the Samsung, but are they the best?

Of those, go for the M4 or 830. I'd go for the 7mm thick version of each (they're typically 9mm, but IIRC all 830s are 7mm) in case you want to use it with a laptop that only accepts 7mm drives in the future. Whichever is cheaper and make sure you compare their warranty policies.

Cheers. Will be going with the 830, due to its reliability over the M4, according to reports
