Id suggest building your own
If you dont have much of a clue to what your doing then ask around and get some help to select the right parts then either assemble it yourself(there are many videos online) or take it too a local tech shop and have them assemble it

OP, if you want to game, building is the only option. Don't listen to any others who tell you how good they think it is just because they bought theirs from pre-built sites.

If you were to ask me, I'd straight up say an iMac, without a doubt. Although they seem like nothing new at first, you wont truly understand until you actually use it, day to day.

I would do build your own you can get a pretty nice pc for 1k (that's how much mine is and I never lag) but make sure every thing is even in power its not good to have a amazing graphics card but an ok processor
