Ok so my friend is getting this problem with his new headset, can anyone help?
I copied this information below from another site but the it is the exact same problem my friend is having.
Just bought a Razer Kraken headset...I paid $85 total. I even bought one behind the one in the front so i wouldnt get the one that has been picked up and dropped a bunch. With my luck the one that i pick up is a defective headset. I get home and plug it up and the mic is so low that i can barely hear my voice and thats if im screaming into the mic. I have my boost turned up as high as it will go and it does not help. When i talk it sounds like its picking up alot of background static and my voice is really low. Does anyone know if it is just me or if i should return it and get another one. My old headset works fine but it has a short in the chord and i got tired of moving the chord to get the speaker to come on but the mic on the old headset sounds fine.
