Ok so I just finished my new pc. Went into eufi bios and it says my 2tb seagate barracuda is a disk drive so i am like wtf. Also windows says that there is no hdd I have checked all my cables and am really not sure where to go now.y mobo is a asus p8z77 v pro

windows setup or actual windows?
if so its likely the drive is unformatted.
see if it comes up in disk management
search disk computer management in the start search then go to dick management in that,
if its there right click on it and i think the option is new volume(something likw that)

No it's set up windows I can't install it because it is not finding it as a hdd it is saying it is a disk drive and sonos my bios

-> Start
-> Right-click "Computer"
-> Select "Manage"
-> In the Left pane of "Computer Management", click "Disk Management"
Locate your new disk in the LOWER portion of the middle panel - you may have to scroll down to find it. Right-click it, create a volume and format it.

-> Select "Manage"
-> In the Left pane of "Computer Management", click "Disk Management"
