blackopsiso wrote i built my pc for 300 and i can play all cods and most games on ultra

specs
8gb ddr3 ram
nvidia gtx 550ti graphics card
intel i7-2700k cpu at 3.50ghz
asus p8h61-mx usb3 rev X.0x
running windows 7

id recommend using those specs my pc never has any problems running any game except minor frame rate issues when running fraps

Calling BS on that price and recommending that people use those specs is ridiculous.

i work at a computer parts store in my area so staff discount and why is recommending these specs ridiculous

1. The 550 Ti is spanked by the 7770 for less.

2. The board doesn't support overclocking but it's paired with an unlocked CPU.

3. You only listed three specific parts.

whit1000 wrote Great! Besides the graphics card.. I would have gone with a Geforce.. But, Everything else is awesome.. Well, You could go with Windows eight. But, Windows 7 is fine too.

i was going to go for the 680 but decided against it its easy to upgrade the pc when i need to but i do think if i was to upgrade the graphics card i would buy the 680 and overkill the pc with 16 gb of ram instead of 8

i was not wanting to overclock due to the obvs extra cooling needed and i paid a very small price for the 550ti so the 7770 would have been more expensive even though i agree that the 7770 is a better graphics card this pc was just a build to keep me from boredom next pc build is going to be alot better and if you want i shall post a full list and pics of all parts of the pc

Fair enough that you got them cheap, but nobody else is going to be in such a position. You can't recommend that hardware for someone else is what I'm saying.

And you seriously bought a case-bundled power supply?

...And you probably ended up with a fire hazard that can barely deliver half of its rated output.
