im getting the imac 27-inch: 3.2GHz if you need more info

It will, but a custom pc will do better. I'm not pressuring you or anything, but what do you want to accomplish with this mac?

3d animation ext.. how well will it run it and render

I hate to sound like a fanboy, which I am not, but a custom built pc will do SO much better for any rendering, and it will be about $600 cheaper

GenerationGFX, i'm new into this chat, will you be gaming at all? Or will it be just for editing/graphics?

no

is that a No, I will be gaming or No, i won't be doing any gaming?

i will not be doing gaming

Okay, well let's take a look at what you wanted:

  • A powerful PC that can handle C4D and other rendering programs extremely well
  • Sleekness and sexyness (I would too)

Now, let's take that and build you a BETTER computer for LESS THAN THE iMAC COST
How much is the iMac you're looking at? About $2000?

Runescape - You should be able to handle this game well, it doesn't really take much to play it, at least last time I was on it didn't.
WoW - You will most likely struggle with that one, i would say around 10-20 frames, wow is pretty demanding.
COD - Depends on what COD, please be specific.

Yes you did, i'm terribly sorry about that.
BF3 - Medium settings: 20-40 FPS (I've never really dealt with BF3 for PC, I still have to buy it, I could be wrong with the FPS above)
Farcry3 - 30-40 FPS on high.
BLOPS 2 - 30+ frames on high, last I checked COD wasn't a resource hog.

I'm not entirely sure about Far cry. I believe you'd get something more like 30 fps on low-medium. It's quite the resource hog. Either way, download this to get a 25% increase in far cry: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

but will it be as slim and sexy i dont have a big space and carnt fit a big bottom thing in my room but still do you know how well it will perform:

rendering: 1-10
in-program speed: 1-10

bear in mind its 3d animation

idk if you still follow this, but if you head over to r00t's sticky he or one of the other helpers on his post can put together a build for you.
