So I want a new laptop and I only want to spend 400-500$
I found this one but not sure if its good for these things
Sony Vegas
Recording (HD PVR)
Photoshop
Browsing

Please tell me if its worth the price or if you guys could find me a better one for the same price range? (Needs Windows 7 too)

All laptops are naturally going to run slower than a PC when running these programs. Though, newer laptops are better built, so they should be able to run fine, as long as you don't run too many at the same time.

Laptops are pcs lol.
If you can i would reccommend upgrading to a desktop as they naturally have more computing power which you'll need if you want Sony Vegas to run well if you post your budget and are interested in building I could give you a quick parts list.

You won't be able to get a pc under 650$ that can run editing software OK assuming that you will need a keyboard, mouse, monitor, operating system, speakers and all the pc parts. Also don't buy a cheap laptop because it will not be able to run sony vegas or any editing software.

I prefered this tutorial when i built mine: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Mainly because the Paul from the newegg video did two builds and I didn't feel like sitting there and confusing myself, but both videos are great.
