Its a AMD II x6 Phenom 1045T

I used a higher Phenom and a lower i3. The playing field is still pretty even. But, I think that if you were to buy a 3225 i3 you would be better off then the Phenom. I have numbers to back it up just saying. At the end of the day it is your choice. The i3 is cheaper by a little bit (20 USD).

Just because it is an AMD CPU with 8 cores does not mean its good, just putting that out there.......

Just because it is an AMD CPU with 8 cores does not mean its good, just putting that out there.......

you might want to check this site anandtech.com

go to the benchmarks section and chose the two cpus you want to compare. Just saying don't just think it is god-like because it has 8 cores. Some of the phenoms are better then the FXs (8 cores).
