Had fun doing this build. If you want to go with a zalman z9 or z11 you can get a SSD with the money saved. I just love the phantom so thats what I gave you. Also, you could get the z9 or z11 and then get a monitor if needed. But, you'll probably need to drop the video card to a 660 TI or 7870 and use the extra money saved for a Monitor. (Just tossing out ideas)

I also recommend the Coolermaster HAF 912 case.

This includes the operating system and monitor. You can remove the CPU cooler and get a normal non-K series CPU if you don't plan on overclocking.

Cpu is good
Cooler is good I personally like the enermax better.
Motherboard is a h77 chipset which will limit the K series processors which is why I went with z77
RAM - you might as well have went with corsair because the price difference is minimal
HDD Is fine but WD is top of the pack there but a Barracuda is perfectly fine.
GPU - you should have went with the gigabyte as it has aftermarket coolers which "blow" away the competition.
CASE - fine. Cases are personal preference
PSU - I went with the HIVE as it is higher quality then most and has a great price tag. XFX makes good power supply's too as they are Seasonic made.
ODD - fine
Monitor - I would've went with a benq or a vh236h (I think that's the model). They have 2ms response times (GtG) which really helps when you are using a high quality gpu.
