So i Just bought HDMI cables for my new Tv, and i have it on the HDMI Channel, The picture is crystal clear, but there's NO sound. I Dont have my xbox cables plugged in because even if plugged in, on the HDMI channel theres still no sound. I Only have the red, white, and yellow av cables, do i need the green, blue, etc to make the sound work? or could it just be a bummed HDMI cord? please help.

Ensure they're all plugged in properly, if not it could be faulty. Take it back to the shop you bought it from, you may be eligible for a refund. And no you don't need the other cables, mine works perfectly. You could also try changing the resolution of the Console

Sounds like your hdmi cord, i dont have anything else plugged in for my sound other than a hdmi cable.
What are you trying to make sound like your tv speakers or a headset?
