I am not all about politics and how the world works. I am just always fascinated on how we come across stuff like Technology or iron making.

I actually watched both and agree with both. The guy was nothing but repsectful to those that want to wear the uniform for what it represents, but is angry at those that choose to be criminals in the uniform. We are becoming a police state. Cameras are everywhere. I heard drones are about to take the skies over our own country. They are putting eavesdropping equipment in buses. You can't even have a simple protest without officers breaking it up and arresting people. And when they do arrest people, they use excessive force. This is breaking everything America has stood for. I loved what the founding fathers wanted, but this isn't it.
We're far from a police state. If you want oppression go to Cuba.
Camera's are hardly put "everywhere", buses do not have eavesdropping equipment.
They put cameras usually in the known bad neighborhoods.
And you can see them half of the time.
There are cameras on and in schools, on and in buildings, and on street lights. The TSA itself is a joke. Overly-thorough body searches and them patting down kids is outrageous. They are putting eavesdropping equipment in buses - like so: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I'm not saying this is as bad as some countries, I'm just saying this is headed in a very wrong direction. If this continues, this will end up being a police state.
Cameras involving schools and buildings are to try and prevent violent crimes. The other day, the police found who committed a drive by in Philly from a camera on a Rite Aid.
They aren't to "spy".
Street lights are for people who have traffic violations, like running a red light.
That is a danger because they could easily hit someone else.
Body searches in Airports, that's plausible. People started to bring bombs in shoes.
I fly every year, they search you based on the clothing you wear. I got searched a few times because I wore baggy clothes and they wanted to check to see if I tried to hide anything, otherwise they just scan your carry on and clothing like shoes.
They caught a lot of the LK here just by finding drugs on a airplane.
The listening devices in buses are hardly everywhere, they aren't doing that in Philly or ABE.
I take buses there all the time.

-Jiraiya- wrote It seems to me that you are sheltered to everything in the real world. Maybe once you get out of that rock you are living under, you'd realize how the real world is. Many policemen are abusing their "authority" day by day and are getting away with it. The way our country is leading to now is horrible. WE need to get our noses out of every single country and stop imposing our ideals onto theirs. We don't need to be sending foreign aid to Israel, Afghanistan, and many other countries. Why do you think we are so poor? I mean we send thousands of troops over to those foreign countries and build bases there which costs us large amounts of money. I mean the people there don't even want us there, yet we keep on prodding and trying to get them to have the same ideals as we do.Israel asked us to help them, so get your facts straight.
I don't even know why I included half the sh*t I did considering it wasn't even relevant to the topic.

I completely agree with Yin, there is nothing that a surveillance system can do to prevent a violent crime anywhere, if you were to take a school shooting for example the majority of the ones I have heard of are murder suicides so the camera does nothing to prevent the crime at all, you could argue that it acts as a deterrent but if the murderer is going to kill them self anyway it will not matter. With this being said there s no use to have surveillance cameras in schools. On top of that the cameras on street lights are not only used to catch road violations but I have had camera's installed in my city on street lights to "reduce crime" which is not just bound to traffic violations. Now for the airport searches, yes it is true we dont want people going onto planes with explosives but the Tsa have gotten so out of control it is absolutely ridiculous at first they were made just for the safety in airports however they feel it is their duty to tke to the trains, boats, and ROADS. For starters in an airport and you have to be searced you have two choices 1.Go through cancer inducing scanner which is not just an xray is also shows soft tissue which essentially allows them to see through your clothes, now this was covered by the news so they decided to give the scanner victim a metal plate to hold in front of their genitals to prevent embarrassment but that does not speak for women's breasts. Now for number two which is a pat down the Tsa have taken this to an extreme where it is not just a pat down or a quick search is has become sexual harassment where they extensively search you sometimes violently and this has been proven. Now ever since their unwelcome expansion to other modes of transportation t has gotten much worse than what has taken place in the airports an example of this could be a video that I saw which is taken from a Tsa dash cam that I cannot link because I cant seem to find it where two Tsa agents pull over two fairly attractive women for a simple traffic violation and not only search their vehicle but one of the agents gives each woman a FULL CAVITY SEARCH on the side of the road where every passer by can see and uses the same glove for each lady. Even though this essential rape wa caught on their dash cam and is public both agents were not punished because they have almost unlimited authority over what they do. There is quite a bit of similarity between these modern day agents and the same ones that Hitler had that did the exact same kinds of injustices. Not a police state? there is loads of evidence pointing to that AND a university professor who studies dictatorships has looked at the US and has written an article on how the US has taken the 7 steps that lead to a dictatorship that every dictatorship takes. In my personal opinion the American citizens rights have been stripped and I don't see their well being getting any better soon.

I take offense to these especially since they work their A** off to protect us and to keep AMERICA how it is and if it want for them, we wouldn't have the freedom and rights we have now. I hope im not the only one that feels this way. Comment and let me know how you feel towards this. I hate when people post this kind of stuff about AMERICA... if you don't like it here, go to another country where you don't have as many rights and privileges as we do. But if your going to post hatred toward the best country, then just get out of here. We don't want you here if that's how you think of it. And to make things worse, there are so many videos on the internet saying how bad and what's wrong with our military, and these people live in AMERICA, I mean, come on now. JUST LEAVE IF YOU FEEL THAT WAY! its that simple...im sorry but I love America and I always will, it hurts me to see how careless people really are, when if it want for our military, they wouldn't have the stuff they have or be doing what they are doing right now because our rights and freedom would be gone.
