Christianity,...!

Religions have different gods or Idols, Which religon might be true and which are false.

Religons believe that other religons that don't praise or believe in their god are going to "hell" or where ever such place that religon believes in?

BTW I'm Athiest!

Every religion is real. What they say and/or promote is usually not. Religion is just a ''safety net''. People will believe in anything just to think that their is an afterlife, which I cannot say there is or is not. Im a Atheist as well, I do not believe in all knowing all powerful beings. Religion is only "real" to those who want to believe its real.

A belief that heaven or an afterlife awaits us is a "fairy story" for people afraid of death, Stephen Hawking has said.

In a dismissal that underlines his firm rejection of religious comforts, Britain's most eminent scientist said there was nothing beyond the moment when the brain flickers for the final time.

Obviously they cannot all be real. So a lot of religions are false. Which is one of the many reasons I am an atheist. This, me replying to this post, my computer being connected to the internet, me breathing this very oxygen, the fact that our hearts are beating, and life itself, is all an amazing miracle.

Religion is by definition a real thing, but i'm not one for being pedantic about the definition of words.

Obviously, one Religion is right and the rest are wrong [if you count Atheism as a religion, like I said, not pedantic], but personally, I believe Atheism is correct.

We have evolved to fit our world and universe quite perfectly so we naturally think 'This is all too perfect for it to have all happened by chance'.

I love the analogy of a puddle waking up and thinking about how well it fits its hole and that it begins thinking it must have been created for the puddle specifically.

you should read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn... some neat references told by an ape.

100 million years ago the jelly fish would have thought the earth as made for them.

Thumbs up for another religious Rant. haha

I think that obviously only one religion is correct, and so do most other people, that's why they choose to follow it. Personally I am a christian, I think that everything is to complex to have happened by chance, but I'm open to anyone else's opinion. My brother is an Aethist and we still get along well. I don't care what religion somebody follows, if it teaches them good things and they follow it.. then it doesn't matter to me. If you think that what you believe is correct and that's how you want to live, I don't mind and I respect your decision

How is it possible that YOU are somehow magically born into the right religion when there are dozens out there?

Religion was created by mankind to control the masses through fear and superstition.
