Ok so I have the laptop hooked up to my tv threw HDMI and the resolution is wrong i have it set to 1280x720, but i need it set to 1280x768... but whe i do that the screen is tiny on the tv... can someone help me make it full screen please ?

plug HDMI to the tv go to display settings use auto detect then on the remote to the tv look for the aspect ratio button/setting and change it and see if that doesnt fix your issue, either way post back with the results .

Your tv's native resolution may only be 720p. Also you might try turning down the over-scaling. If you don't know how, look it up on google.
