I am making this topic to help you guys out that need music for your next episode or montage and want to make sure the music you are using is uncopyrighted. Also, I have seen many topics of people wondering what Copyright is and this should sum it up.

What is Copyrighted Music?
Music that has been registered with the Copyright Office. Under present law, copyright exists upon creation of a work; the registration process creates a legal record of the work's existence, and its approximate date of creation. Copyright notices are recommended for any works that go outside the creator's control, whether the works are formally registered or not.
What is Uncopyrighted Music?
Uncopyrighted Music is music that hasn't been signed by a Record company. Uncopyrighted music is free for you to use on your channel without having to worry about getting a strike.

If music is Uncopyrighted, It will not have that buy it now icon in the bottom right corner of the video, next to the description.

Why you should use Uncopyrighted Music.
One major reason is that If you have Copyrighted content you won't be able to apply for a YouTube partnership. You may get Copyright claims which may result in your YouTube channel being terminated.
