I've recently ran into a problem with my Android's APN settings that prevented me from accessing the internet or texting others and it took me quite a bit of looking around and was quite a hassle to figure out; so I figured that I would share my new-found knowledge with the rest of TTG and provide a list of all the carriers I have found searching the internet.
As I come across more APNs I will update the list so that I can hopefully help everyone who's having a problem. If you come across your own APN that isn't listed, just use the steps below and it should still work. Please share other APNs you find and post them here so that we can help others!
What is an APN?
An APN, or Access Point Name, is what allows your phone to connect to the Internet and send MMS through your phone carrier.
Setting your APN details in your Android phone.
First things first, make sure your Android phone has the 'Data enabled - Enable data access over Mobile network' box checked to enable Internet access.
Step 1: Go to 'Settings'
Step 2: Go to 'Wireless & Networks'
Step 3: Go to 'Mobile Networks'
Step 4: Go to 'Access Point Names'
Step 5: Press the 'Menu' button
Step 6: Select 'New APN'
Step 7: Find & enter the corresponding information
NOTE - The details you will find below are CARRIER specific, NOT phone.
