I have an issue when using camtasia recorder. The program functions perfectly when I am just browsing through my desktop and folders however if I launch a game and keep it recording when I play the video back the screen is black for the entire period the game is running (audio is included). Any help as to why this is happening (It happens with every game i have tried on my PC.

yea, start recording after the game has started.

ive had this problem as well ,the recorder isnt meant for games, i would suggest fraps or DXtory if you can be bothered to configure it.
