1. Change Time zone to GMT 00 London
2. Restart Console
3. Change Time zone to Gmt 14 Karibati

I maxed out my credits on my normal time zone then did like 15k on the +14 time zone. I wanted to play some matchmaking legit, so I switched to the +00 one and tried. during the game it says I'm getting credits, but after the credits don't add to my total is it a ban?

This is a time glitch that gets you around the Daily Credit Cap. It's a bit unnecessary, but if you're reallllly farming, I can understand.

However, Bungie said in their most recent Weekly Update that they will not ban or reset people for farming credits. Bungie will, however, reset or even ban you for automating controls, overexploiting and working around set and obvious rules.

They will, sooner or later, find out that you are exploiting the credit cap and will set something in place to counteract it, so do it now if you are going to.
