Is the extra hundred dollars really worth it?
I'm referring to the ftw edition & the ti.

I'm trying to make my build future proof so obviously the 670 would be better in that case but I'm wondering if it's really worth it?

Either of them is fine, the 660 is good, so is the 670, if you get the 670, it may be better for you too get that now, it will last you for a while when newer games come out as well.

I have the 660TI MSI OCPE and its beast will play any game on high settings and then some on ultra. there is an average 4-6 percent improvement on the 670's side but i would save you're money and go with the 660ti

He wants a future proof card. The 660 will be outdated in about a year and a half.

What I was trying to say is that they both will be outdated soon. And by the way, the performance difference is more like 15-25%

Crap? I'm making sure he doesn't waste his money on a 660, or for that matter, a 670. The 7950 is the same price and outperforms it in nearly all cases.
