So I was playing xbox and after I start playing online multiplayer for about 5-10 minutes I end up disconnecting without a logical reason. My ethernet is plugged directly into the console and I start playing bam disconnected without a update. Does anyone know a solution to this problem or a reason why this is happening?

did you try unplugging your modem for 30 seconds

Yeah believe it or not I plug it right back in and nothing changes. Quite depressing because xbox support has no idea of the problem.

Make sure your firewall allows xbox live. Open all ports on your internet. Check Your NAT type. If none of those work your S.O.L.

If all of that fails then you might be Getting DDoSed try to unplug your router for around ten minutes and if that doesnt change your ip Contact your isp.

How would I go about this process? My brother was on the computer earlier and its not in the usual either and I fear maybe this could be his doing?

What does this mean? Someone is shelling my router in context? You know I'm open to all ideas and just recently I met this kid who said he could do this but I assumed he was full of sh^t.

1. unplug everything( your modem, your router, and xbox.
2. wait 30 seconds and plug modem in
3. once it is all lighted up plug router in
4. wait till all lighted up
5 turn on xbox and connect to the enthernet and
that should do it if not then idk

Contact your ISP.

Don't jump to conclusions about DDoS. I was DDoS'd by AnonKYZA the other day, because he is active right now.

I'd keep on the lookout for unusual activity, and accounts missing/unusual emails. ;)

I can not connect to Xbox live but wen I test my live it will go past Xbox 360 and network but gets a red x and Internet just happen to me like 10mins a go
