Hey guys, this may seem like a really random topic but I am currently considering a move to the US, temporary trial with a thought on making it permanent in the future.
I am only 18, and I will be getting my education at University out of the way first before anything. (I researched US colleges but they are too expensive for me lol)
I was wondering, first off, is it even possible to move and become a permanent resident of the USA?
And does anyone know anything about moving out temporarily e.g. 4 months for summer or maybe a year.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can come and stay here forever. You just won't have certain rights since you weren't born in the US. My friend's dad is from the UK. Honestly, I would stay in the UK, but it's your choice.

I haven't been yet, that's why I am planning to go for a short while to experience it as I may not like it. It is something I have been thinking about for a while though, America really interests me.

It's nothing special. Just a few rude people, a few nice and some bogus government.

I've always wanted to go to America too but not move there. In the UK we have free health care etc which they do not have in the USA
