Ripe wroteYes he did have the intention to kill but he never, therefore it was attempted murder not actual murder. Attempted murder is no way near a death sentence.JonesUFC wrote It says the boy was wounded? It doesn't say he's dead so why should the person who shot deserve a death sentence?
The shooter had the intention to kill, they aimed for the head. Why should it matter if the victim dies or not, it was attempted homicide?

Aside from the horror of this story, that's a nice thing to be able to say you survived [assuming he will pull through].
Not everyone can say they got shot in the head and walked away.
Why does it feel like gun crime is on the rise? Is it?
Or is it just that more attention being drawn to it after the Sandy Hook shooting?
Anyone got any statistics?

As everyone who's been paying attention to these gun crimes will notice that ever since the Sandy Hook shooting a lot of gun crimes have started.
I'm glad I live in a place where getting shot whilst randomly sitting in class isn't the case.
However, I truly feel sorry for the people who are around these areas of gun crime. What must go through people's brains to make them want to chuck a flash/smoke grenade into a theater and spray with a machine gun. Madness!

The world isn't slowly collapsing but something needs to be done with gun control.
More than anything I'm just glad the kid didn't die.

Attempted murder shouldn't be a sentence to death at all, that is so stupid.

Life isn't fair and we have laws that make the difference. People get shot at all around the world, what makes that different from this?
