I need to know if this RAM will work on my laptop: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Right now in my laptop I have a DDR3 4GB-1333
I thought since the RAM that I wanted is DDR3 8GB-1333 then it would work? The RAM also says that it is the laptop series.
Any help is appreciated, +19 Rep for best answer.

I don't see as to why it wouldn't since you said it was in the same series. I have never personally used that ram but heard that it's good so yeah!

+20 Rep for both of you...
So as long as they are both DDR3 they will work? Or does it have to be DDR3 laptop series?

That depends on your laptop. If your laptop supports 16GB of RAM yes, but for me, the maximum is 8GB.
You'll have to check first.
And why the hell do you need 16GB?
Download crucial's memory adviser from their website. You need to select the manufacturer first - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It'll tell you what you can buy.
