only way is to reopen iTunes and do it again. if you get same error just start phone as new.

Hey, did you make a back up? you always have to make a back up when you're restoring or updating. Just start the phone as a new phone and then restore it from the backup on itunes

or you can start it as a new phone and sync your music and everything back and then just ask your friends for their numbers
