My cousin stays in germany and i stay in the uk

He gave me his ild account with a few month of live left in it but on the dashboard at the too where all the diffrent link things are for example "my games" or "settings" its all in german

Ive tried changing my language and locale but its still te same can anyone help?

It's because he account go set up on a German language.

His xbox account was created in germany that is why and yhere is not way to change it sorry man dont you have the dash board memorized i do...

You will need to change the Windows Live ID associated with the Xbox Live Account.

on the dashboard go all the way to the right... go to options. then go to console settings... there should be a option for language.. click on that and switch it to English... this should work

Language is a setting, you should be able to change it.
