I'm sure you guys have all see then new styled backgrounds alot of people are creating.... I decided to give it a go, as there are no current tutorials on these background it's kinda hard to work stuff out but never the less here is my attempt:

I agree, as long as they aren't over done you get get some really nice ones!

I clipped the outline of the text into the background then i smudged the background intro the shaped of the text..

It's not bad, you could still tweek up... a bit, it's pretty plain. But as for these types of backgrounds, IMO: DAFUQ? Why must everyone copy everyone else's work? Seriously, isn't there any creativity anymore?

Personally I don't like it. The CC doesn't look good and it looks fairly random. If you have Cinema 4D try following this tutorial I made for oil painting text.

and dude i like to think of my own idea's when ever doing backgrounds i just think in my head then make it lol and see the outcome. like i did with this unfinished manip
