Okay so I am getting a HD Dazzle for free (long story how I got it) and I was wondering, do I need a HD TV or a special HD thing in my computer for the HD Dazzle to work? Some of my friends say I don't but they don't even have a capture card.... Any help will be appreciated

No, you don't need a HD T.V.

There is a capture card called the "Dazzle HD" the only problem is, it's not HD (High Definition) at all. It uses A/V (Yellow, White, & Red) cables, which are 360p/480p quality, which is NOT HD. HD is 720p-1080p. The quality is just the same as all the other Dazzles, just new name. So, nothing more then a, Splitter/VCR, Double sided AV cable, TV Cable (IF USE VCR).
How to setup with VCR:
1. Plug VCR into wall socket.
2. Plug TV Cable (Metal circle with little point in middle) from TV Out on VCR to Cable in on TV.
3. Plug Double sided AV cable from Capture Card In's to A/V out on VCR.
4. Plug AV from Xbox to VCR's IN
How to setup with splitters:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
(Ignore HDMI Cable text in video, That's a AV cable, not HDMI)
Once again, It's NOT HD.
HD Capture Cards:
Black Magic Intensity Pro (HDMI) (480p - 1080i) $180 - $200
Happuage HD PVR (Composite, Green + Red + Blue) (480p - 720p) $185 - $200
AverTV HD DVR (HDMI)(480p - 1080i) $100
