I was playing zombies with my some friends on the map die rise. However one friend had to go and dolphin dove off the building in the budda room. However when he did that he disappeared and showed up with another friend on top of the power building with nothing but a pistol? Does anyone know anything about this?

if it was at the end of a round he would respawn straight away with a team mate..

It was the who's who perk. In multiplayer, if you jump off a building with it you cant revive yourself and instead it just spawns you in as if it was the start of a new round
