I am about to get rid of my antec 500w for a much needed upgrade. My max budget is $80 but ~$70 would be best. I also need there to be enough wattage to support oc'ing in the near future. All help is appreciated. I was going to get the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but I am not sure if there are better for the price. Thanks

You will want to save a bit more money for decent power supply, if you want a 800w power supply that is from a decent brand (corsair, thermal take etc.) then you will want to save around 130 USD.

I just need it to be reliable and around 650w and also from a good brand.

I found this on newegg - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
(I don't use newegg for looking for computer components, i use overclockers UK, but this one should be ok for you anyway)

[spoiler]
For a psu with absolutely no cons listed, I find it too good to be true. However I did find that the +12v rail only supports up to 480w. Something to think about though.

What's wrong with your Antec unit? Antec is one of the good guys in the PSU industry and, if the wattage is enough and it has the right connectors, you should keep it. What are your specs?

Apevia, yeah, ditch it. This is a nice deal until the code expires on the 23rd: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The prices change all the time and the 550w HIVE unit isn't even available anymore. That's why I tell people to wait until right before they order to ask for advice.
