The main reason is probably the funding, we don't have the money to build a big rocket ship for something we've already done.

Meh. The first few posters are correct. It's the fact we are incredibly in debt and the amount of knowledge we would gain from going to the moon again is minimal.

It's a bunch of rocks. We fly up there and spend a sh*t ton of money.

Bring back a bunch of rocks and a book full of photos of bouncing on the moon.

Derp.

Sort of like paying 400$ to do something once. You do everything possible, and it's only worth going once. Why would you pay 400$ 3 more times?

The only reason i would ever support space travel is if it involved going to other planets. There is nothing on the moon, we have already been there and discovered that.

that was the biggest waste of 10 minutes of my life more than half of these are weather anomalies and half of the "tracks" look like they are from a moon rover

They wont go cos they have been enough, how many times do they want to waste there money, unless they found something useful on the moon which would be a whole team to retrieve it. There is no point going to the moon.

Nasa wont be going to the moon again because it been confirmed its not made of cheese, so theres no need to go anymore, because why bother if theres no cheese D:

Haha joking
But its all down to money as another member said, it was costing just too much to do the missions.

I don't completely buy into the conspiracy theories, although some of it does seem very plausible..

I think the main reason is that we know the moon is there, and it's not going anywhere. They'd rather focus on far more interesting planets light-years away and I don't blame them.
The moon is basically a rock.. and we learned what we needed to when NASA went there years back, they don't need to wast billions to prove a couple conspirators wrong.
