I recently gave this some thought and i think the universe is infinite.
Also i don't think we're the only planet with life on it, there is so much yet to discover, we can't tell.

The universe is infinite, because it's ever-expanding. It's expanding faster than the fastest thing in the universe (I think). So, like you say, the likeliness that there's a similar planet to ours is almost certain.

My science teacher told us that space is always expanding. Weather or not this was true or not, I have no clue.

SAAB wrote There are confirmed planets in other universes that are thought to be able to sustain life. That have the right conditions.

I believe space is infinate, its so difficult to get your head round just how small and insugnificant we really are, and tbh it scares the hell out of me, just how short our lives are when you think about things

Don't even see why this has any down-votes.. this is spot on. NASA has discovered 100's of planets capable of sustaining life in their current state or planets that were once able to.

The thought of space is really hard to sit down and comprehend, that's because it really is so big.

I think the "confirmed planets in other universes" was the cause. Kids can't reason on this website.

I know but I think life is too short to think too much about this.

I say wait a few 100 years until the technolgy is 100000000 times better.

It's a very interesting topic to talk about. So many ideas and theories.

I think that space is infinite. Because, if there were an "edge" of space, what would be on the other side, and how big would that be?

Pretty scary actually.. Space, never ending space.. How the F was it created? Must have been created sometime? And if that would been true, what was here before that?

You'd probably go insane if you think about it to much

Though, if it's expanding, there's also an egde right? What's there before space expands "over" that edge?
