Okay so i want to take the brakes off my bmx. 1. its cool. 2.its lighter 3.its easier to do stunts. Is this a good Idea??

Just put your foot on the back tire. It wares out your shoes, but works.

I think you should, when i used to ride i was breakless. alot of my friends who still ride are to or have one break. but remember safety first

If you feel confident enough to ride without them then go for it, just be careful on the roads, you can stop by sticking your foot in the back tire anyway. I had them off all the time i had a bmx, although all i can say from experience of having my head stitched up, ALWAYS wear a helmet

i wouldn't recommend it but if you want to damage your shoes then go for it.

Do not do that i nearly broke my back doing that riding down a hill and it was not a nice experience.

Well if it makes you cool to not be able to stop then you gotta go for it, its all about the swag.
If it being lighter is a serious factor.. you could always maybe work out and it will feel lighter without the risk of you not being able to stop.
I wouldn't do it, and this is coming from someone who is not very intelligent.
